For families

I provide ABA home programs, whether a full time 40 hour per week program or a skeleton program, after school, for 10 hours per week. I do not go lower than 10 hours per week, as I believe a certain number of learning opportunities are needed to see a big behaviour change. Don't forget, I can train parents as tutors too, so if you can't afford tutors for 10 hours and feel you have the energy, you can join in!

I design the program with you, and most of it will take place in a child's natural environment. It will be fun and motivating for the teacher and the learner. I expect tutors to work hard and maximise the child's learning time and parents to be consistent and hit some targets outside of tutoring time too, as when parents are involved children tend to move faster.

Each program needs regular meetings and supervision sessions every 2-5 weeks (depending on the nature of the program) to move targets on, train and make sure your child is moving as quickly as they can.

For schools

I provide class-wide and individual programs, also inclusion programs and positive approaches to challenging behaviour for children with additional needs, covering communication, social skills, emotional literacy, independence (self help and following routine), play and academic differentiation. I will do a thorough analysis of the functions of any challenging behaviour.

I realise the huge workloads teachers have and the unique dynamics in schools, and have a lot of experience working alongside teachers as part of a team and designing programs together, in a way that makes everyone feel comfortable and happy. I also have a lot of experience in training support staff to use ABA techniques to support each child reaching their IEP targets.

I am happy to do inset days for a normal consultancy rate per hour, and will discuss how to tailor the day specifically to your needs beforehand.
